Contrary to what climate change sceptics may have us believe, a survey of Europeans shows climate change is considered a bigger problem even than the global economic crisis, and is second only to poverty in a list of world problems:  http://bit.ly/pY1Eq3

The Climate Change Computer Game. I know we are not supposed to go on about the doomsday scenario of climate change and instead look forward to a low carbon future, but I can't help but like the idea of getting people interested in climate change via playing this game. Its bacisally the fate of the world but instead of aliens or gang violence, the issue is climate change. You can save it by cutting carbon emissions or damning it by letting soaring temperatures wreak havoc through floods, droughts and fires. Get it at Oxfam or downlowad for £14.99

One of my aims in joining Brent Sustainability Forum is to find volunteers to help with climate change events at Northwick Park and Central Middlesex Hospitals. eg. manning a stall alongside me on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th October to persuade staff to sign up to the 10:10 campaign to cut carbon emissions by 10%. Through this, volunteers will learn more about how to bring about change in the workplace, and how to link climate change messages with health ones. This is part of a coordinated communications plan to cut carbon emissions from the hospitals.
So how can I find some volunteers to help, any ideas?

Good news quoted in the Guardian this Monday that Bjørn Lomborg "the world's most high-profile climate change sceptic is to declare that global warming is "undoubtedly one of the chief concerns facing the world today" and "a challenge humanity must confront", in an apparent U-turn that will give a huge boost to the embattled environmental lobby.".
