I can't see the image you've attached, but a tonne of carbon is actually the weight of a small to medium-sized elephant. Does that help visually?

Oh, actually, many of the UK's local authorities compare carbon emissions to how much it takes to fit inside Wembley Stadium. We have the stadium, so maybe we could use it (even post-ironically?).

Would it help if everyone could see their carbon emmissions in the work place? Making energy visible has been proven to make people change their habits.
