Event Description
come along to our free picnic, celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. This event is expected to attract a family audience of about 3,000 people.
There will be seating for 1,000 with picnic tables and chairs and residents are encouraged to bring and share picnics, enjoy a fun afternoon event in the park, watch performances, take part in workshops, or try some of the delicious foods available or even a cream tea in the tea tent.
The Environmental Projects & Policy team has teamed up with EcoLocal and will provide info on home insulation, saving water, the Green Charter and much more. Our tent is next to the public viewing screen.
